MEET THE TIC TEAM:

Wayne Shillito
Chairman & Founder
Wayne Shillito is the founder and driving force behind TIC Group. Starting out as a painter and decorator, Wayne built the business from the ground up with little more than a strong work ethic, a hands-on approach, and a vision for something bigger. Over the years, he transformed what began as a small operation into a major player in the property sector. Under his leadership, TIC Group has grown to own and manage an impressive portfolio of 172 residential properties and 97 commercial units, alongside a steady stream of in-house developments.
Wayne has recently stepped into a more strategic executive role, now sitting as Chairman, taking a step back from the day-to-day running of the business, which is now led by his two sons, Tom and Max. While no longer involved in daily operations, he continues to provide oversight, guidance, and plays a key part in all fundamental decisions shaping the company’s direction.
His depth of experience, industry knowledge, and personal investment in the company’s success have helped build TIC Group’s reputation for reliability, quality, and growth. Despite the company’s expansion, Wayne has stayed true to the core values he founded the business on: hard work, integrity, and a long-term commitment to the communities TIC Group serves.

Tom Shillito
Co-Managing Director
Group Finance & Performance
Tom Shillito shares the role of Managing Director at TIC Group, where he works in close partnership with Max but leads on a distinct set of projects and property areas. With a practical, detail-oriented approach, Tom is responsible for delivering high-quality development work across both residential and commercial portfolios. He plays a key role in driving construction standards, overseeing site management, and ensuring each project aligns with TIC’s broader goals.
Tom is especially focused on commercial refurbishments and operational efficiency within the portfolio, ensuring each asset performs at its best. He also leads on several residential initiatives, particularly in the delivery of modern, well-designed living spaces. Tom’s strength lies in combining technical know-how with business acumen, helping TIC Group deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
In addition to his operational responsibilities, Tom controls all financial elements of the company based on his experience from working in the banking sector, his BSc in Economics and MSc in Banking & Finance. This includes overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and overall fiscal strategy, ensuring robust financial performance and sustainability across the group. His commitment to quality, financial discipline, and long-term performance is a cornerstone of TIC Group’s continued success.

Max Shillito
Co-Managing Director
Group Property & Delivery
Max Shillito is one of TIC Group’s Managing Directors, bringing a forward-thinking mindset and a passion for modern property development. Working alongside his brother Tom, Max leads his own projects across both the residential and commercial sectors, with a focus on design innovation, strategic acquisitions, and tenant satisfaction. His work often involves identifying emerging opportunities in the market and transforming underutilised spaces into high-performing assets.
Max oversees a number of key residential developments, from ground-up builds to large-scale refurbishments, while also managing commercial properties with an emphasis on long-term value and strong tenant relationships. His hands-on approach and deep understanding of the property lifecycle make him a central figure in the company’s continued expansion.
Max’s background in recruitment and his BSc in Business Management have equipped him with strong people skills, commercial awareness, and strategic insight; key strengths that influence his leadership style and decision-making. These experiences have helped him develop a sharp eye for talent, a structured approach to growth, and a focus on building high-performing, sustainable property assets. Max is committed to ensuring TIC Group remains agile, ambitious, and built to last.

Patsy Newhouse
Office Manager
Patsy Newhouse is the office manager and the organisational heartbeat of TIC Group. With a calm and capable presence, she manages the day-to-day administrative functions that keep the business running smoothly. From handling communications and scheduling to supporting the directors and liaising with tenants and partners, Patsy plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and professionalism of the office.
Known for her warm, approachable manner and meticulous attention to detail, Patsy is often the first point of contact for those engaging with TIC Group. Her ability to juggle multiple responsibilities while providing excellent support to the team makes her an indispensable part of the business. Patsy’s dedication ensures that behind every successful project, there’s a strong foundation of coordination and care.
